Whether you want to provide guests access to WiFi for a wedding or connect vendor payment systems at an event, Kiza can help in places cellular can’t go!

We’ve worked with events from charity dinners to rodeos and can provide vendor-dedicated and/or guest WiFi. Contact us for a custom quote today! We typically set up service the day before to account for any unforeseen issues, then tear down the business day following the event. Available speeds depend on clear line of site and the technology used on our available hilltop sites.

What to Expect

Installation

We temporarily install a similar radio as that used by our residential and business customers to provide the primary internet connection. This can be on a tripod or non-penetrating mount for minimal disruption to the property. From the radio, an Ethernet cable runs to an outdoor box containing the power supply and primary WiFi router. Multiple mesh WiFi units can be added to extend coverage if necessary.

Electrical

Standard 120v, 3-prong electrical power, whether from a wall outlet or generator, is highly recommended. We can run most equipment off battery power, but this adds to setup complexity and cost.

WiFi

One or more WiFi networks can be created, with or without passwords as your needs dictate. Client isolation and speed limits prevent unruly guests from hogging all the bandwidth or interfering with vendor devices. When extending coverage, we typically use outdoor-rated, weatherproof routers like the white cylinder pictured on the vertical post above.
